This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which MoveTara ("we", "us", "our") processes refunds and cancellations for subscription plans purchased through our website at www.movetara.com.

MoveTara subscriptions are purchased exclusively through our website. All billing, cancellation, and refund requests are handled directly by MoveTara — not through any app store.

1. Subscription Plans

MoveTara offers the following subscription billing cycles:

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

2. Free Trial

MoveTara may offer a free trial period for new users. During the trial, you have access to all features of your selected plan. No payment is required during the trial period. At the end of the trial, your subscription will not auto-renew — you must actively subscribe to continue using the Service.

3. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Here is what happens upon cancellation:

Scenario What Happens
Cancel during billing period Access continues until the end of the current paid period. No further charges.
Cancel during free trial Access ends immediately. No charges incurred.
Downgrade to lower plan Takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle. Current cycle remains unchanged.
Upgrade to higher plan Takes effect immediately. Prorated charges apply for the remainder of the current cycle.

4. How to Cancel

Cancellations are processed within 24 hours of receipt.

5. Refund Policy

6. Service Downtime Refund

If MoveTara experiences an unplanned outage exceeding 72 consecutive hours that is within our control, affected subscribers are entitled to a pro-rata credit applied to their next billing cycle. Credits must be requested within 14 days of the outage.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, send an email to support@movetara.com with:

Refund requests are reviewed within 3 business days. Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

8. Non-Refundable Items

Important: Filing a chargeback with your bank without contacting us first may result in permanent account suspension. Please reach out to support@movetara.com before initiating a dispute with your payment provider.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. The updated policy will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last Updated" date.

10. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
